Why was I charged?

Pipelio charges your card for only two things, your Pipelio Pro subscription and calling balance top-ups. Calls, extra texts and extra phone numbers are paid from your calling balance, not charged to your card one by one.

Who can do this
Admins, and anyone who sees a Pipelio charge they did not expect

The two charges that reach your card

ChargeWhen it happensWhere to check it
Pipelio Pro subscriptionMonthly ($29) or yearly ($240), from the checkout you startedSettings, Billing, Plan
Calling balance top-upWhen you add balance, or when auto top-up refills itSettings, Billing, Recent activity under Calling balance

Nothing else is charged to your card. The free plan has no charges at all.

Check this first

  1. Was it a top-up? If auto top-up is on, your card is charged the refill amount each time your balance drops below the amount you chose. Several busy calling days can mean several refills. Look in Recent activity for the top-ups and their dates.

  2. Was it your yearly renewal? A yearly plan renews for $240 once a year.

  3. Did a teammate top up? Any workspace admin can add balance with the card on file.

Usage is taken from your balance, not your card

Calls, texts beyond your 250 monthly credits, and extra phone numbers are paid from your calling balance. They never appear on your card one by one. Your card only sees the top-up that filled the balance. See Usage charges for each rate.

Stop it happening again

When to contact support

If a charge does not match a subscription payment or a top-up in Recent activity, contact support with the date and amount. See Contact support.

Still need help?

In Pipelio, open Support at the bottom of the left sidebar and send a message. Workspace admins can message support directly; other teammates should ask their admin. Include what you clicked, what you expected, and the exact words of any message you saw.
