Incoming calls and voicemail

Calls to your number ring in Pipelio for about 45 seconds. If nobody answers, the caller hears a standard greeting and can leave a voicemail, which appears in your Inbox and in the Dialer.

Answering

When someone calls your number, Pipelio shows Incoming call with Accept and Decline. It rings for about 45 seconds.

Who it rings depends on the number's assignment: the assigned teammate, or everyone for a shared number. See Assign phone numbers to teammates.

Your status in the dialer matters too. Do not disturb sends incoming calls straight to voicemail.

Note

Pipelio rings in your browser or the installed app. Keep Pipelio open to answer calls. On a phone, an incoming call also sends a notification if you turned on push notifications, but opening Pipelio from a closed state can take too long to catch the call. See Install Pipelio and turn on notifications.

Voicemail

If nobody answers, the caller hears a standard greeting and can leave a message of up to 3 minutes. The greeting cannot be changed today.

You find voicemails:

  • in the Inbox, on that caller's conversation,

  • in Dialer, Voicemail, where you can filter, call back, message the caller or Download voicemail,

  • in the bell, as a missed call or voicemail notification.

Incoming calls are charged per minute from your calling balance. See Usage charges.

In Pipelio, open Support at the bottom of the left sidebar and send a message. Workspace admins can message support directly; other teammates should ask their admin. Include what you clicked, what you expected, and the exact words of any message you saw.
