Texting registration and toll-free verification
Carriers expect businesses that text to be registered. Admins fill in the Texting compliance form in Settings, then Phone numbers, and toll-free numbers need their own one-time verification.
Where to find it
Open Settings, then Phone numbers. The Texting compliance card shows your workspace's status.
Fill in the form
Choose Start setup, or Continue setup if you started before.
Work through Messaging compliance setup: your business identity, what your texts are for with examples, how people agree to receive them, then review and submit.
What happens after you submit
The Pipelio team reviews your details by hand. Nothing is sent to carriers automatically.
There is no fixed timeframe. The status on the Texting compliance card changes as your registration moves forward. If something needs fixing, it shows Rejected and you can choose Fix and resubmit.
You can keep texting while you wait. Pipelio does not currently block texts based on registration status.
If your status has not changed after a few business days, contact support.
What the statuses mean
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not started | Nothing filled in yet |
| Draft in progress | Started, not submitted |
| Submitted to Pipelio for review | Pipelio has your details and will review them. It has not been filed with carriers yet |
| In review at Pipelio | Pipelio is reviewing it |
| Approved | Approved by Pipelio |
| Rejected | Something needs fixing. Choose Fix and resubmit |
Your numbers table
The Phone numbers table shows a texting status for each number. Allowed, not enforced yet means Pipelio is not currently blocking texts from that number based on registration. Carriers may still filter texts.
Toll-free numbers
Each toll-free number needs a one-time verification. Choose Verification needed next to the number, fill in the form, and choose Submit for verification. You see Submitted for verification. This usually takes a few business days.

In Pipelio, open Support at the bottom of the left sidebar and send a message. Workspace admins can message support directly; other teammates should ask their admin. Include what you clicked, what you expected, and the exact words of any message you saw.
