Roles and permissions
Every member is an Admin, Manager or Agent. On top of the role, admins set each member's lead access, and whether they can export or reassign leads.
The three roles
| Role | In short |
|---|---|
| Admin | Always sees every lead. Manages the team, permissions, billing, phone numbers, settings and support |
| Manager | Sees the leads their permissions allow. Can delete, merge and reassign leads. Cannot manage the team |
| Agent | Sees the leads their permissions allow. Cannot delete or merge leads or manage the team |
Who can do what
| Action | Admin | Manager | Agent |
|---|---|---|---|
| See leads | All, always | As set by permissions | As set by permissions |
| Add and import leads | Yes | Yes | Yes. If they only see their own leads, a lead they add is assigned to them |
| Delete leads, merge duplicates, remove sample leads | Yes | Yes | No |
| Reassign leads | Yes | Yes | Only with permission |
| Export leads | With permission | With permission | With permission |
| Create shared views | Yes | No, private only | No, private only |
| Team page, invites, roles, permissions | Yes | No | No |

Per-member permissions
Admins open Team, choose Edit member, and set:
Which leads they see: All leads or Assigned to them.
Whether they also see leads nobody owns yet (Can see unassigned leads).
Can export leads.
Can reassign leads. Managers and admins can always reassign.
Changes take effect straight away. Changing someone's role does not change these settings, so check them when you promote someone.
You cannot change your own role, and the workspace always needs at least one admin.

In Pipelio, open Support at the bottom of the left sidebar and send a message. Workspace admins can message support directly; other teammates should ask their admin. Include what you clicked, what you expected, and the exact words of any message you saw.
