What text delivery statuses mean
Under each text you send, Pipelio shows the final delivery report from the phone network when it gets one: Delivered, Not delivered, Not sent, or No delivery report.
The statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| (nothing shown yet) | The text was accepted for sending and is on its way. This does not mean it arrived |
| Delivered | The phone network reported the text reached the phone |
| Read | The recipient's phone reported it was read, where that is supported |
| Not delivered | The network accepted the text but could not deliver it |
| Not sent | The text was refused before it went out |
| No delivery report | No final report arrived within 30 minutes. It may or may not have arrived. Do not resend straight away |
| Delivery unclear | The network sent reports that contradict each other |
| Canceled | The text was canceled before sending |
Older texts may show no status at all.
See the reason
For Not delivered and Not sent, select the status to see the reason the network gave, a suggested next step, and the error code. Common reasons include a phone that is off or out of service, a number that cannot receive texts such as a landline, filtering by the carrier, or the person having replied STOP.
Important
Pipelio passes your text to its sending partner and reports what the phone network tells it. Pipelio cannot guarantee delivery. Carriers make their own filtering decisions.
A missing report is not proof of failure, and Delivered is not proof the person read it.

In Pipelio, open Support at the bottom of the left sidebar and send a message. Workspace admins can message support directly; other teammates should ask their admin. Include what you clicked, what you expected, and the exact words of any message you saw.
