Calling and phone numbers
Get a number, make and take calls, voicemail, and recordings.
Explained
- What you need before you can call or textCalling needs three things: an active Pipelio Pro plan, at least one phone number, and calling balance. Texting needs Pro and a number; it does not need calling balance until you go past your included text credits.
- Assign phone numbers to teammatesAssigning a number decides who it rings when someone calls it. It does not stop other teammates from calling or texting out from that number.
- Incoming calls and voicemailCalls to your number ring in Pipelio for about 45 seconds. If nobody answers, the caller hears a standard greeting and can leave a voicemail, which appears in your Inbox and in the Dialer.
How-to
- Buy a phone numberAdmins buy numbers in Settings, then Phone numbers. Your first number is included with Pipelio Pro. Extra local numbers cost $3 a month and toll-free numbers $5 a month, charged from your calling balance.
- Make a callClick the phone icon on any lead, or open the dialer from the phone button at the top of the app. Allow microphone access the first time. Pipelio records every answered call.
- Record a call outcomeWhen a call ends, pick an outcome such as Interested, Voicemail or Call back. Some outcomes set up the next step for you, like a retry or a callback date.
- Call through a list with the queueOn the Leads page, choose Powerdial this list from the menu. Pipelio calls one lead after another, moves on when you record an outcome, and remembers where you stopped.
- Record voicemail dropsRecord or upload a voicemail message in Settings, then Voicemail. During a call that reaches voicemail, choose Drop a voicemail to leave it for you.
- Release a phone number you no longer needAdmins can release a number from its menu in Settings, then Phone numbers. A released number cannot be recovered, and the current month's fee is not refunded.
- Find and play call recordingsEvery answered call is recorded. Play recordings from the lead page, the Inbox conversation, or Dialer, Call logs.
